Portuguese Adjectives

Adjectives ending in -al, -el, and -ul can be used with masculine or feminine words. In their plural form, the final -l becomes -is. (Example amigo leal= amigos leais).

Adjectives ending in il, in the singular have the plural ending in -is, but if the word has an accent, the plural becomes -eis. (Example parceiro difcil=parceiros dificeis)

Adjectives ending in -ol have a feminine form ending in -ola. Their respective plural forms are -ois and -olas. (Example companheiro espanhol = companheiros espanhóis)
